Welcome
to the Painted Feather
"To look through the eye of the feather would take me
to that place of vision where I can see what's real and what's
not."

Profile
Eight
years ago, Bettie & Dave Edgerton were partners in a business
totally unrelated to art. Bettie decided to try to sell
some of the art and craft projects she was always working on
and called her little sideline business, Bettie & Company. At
first it was just a hobby, but it soon grew into the business
that became the main focal point of their lives. The name
stuck and now Dave tells people, "She's Bettie. I'm 'And
Company'. Call me 'And' for short."
The Painted
Feather Studio is located in an area called "the Oregon
Outback" where bald eagles, deer, elk, coyote, and even
an occasional bobcat can be seen. "We love living
here, and being able to work on our own property in this beautiful
setting,"
